Fagan Industries was founded in 1992 to market and sell various bearings, power transmission and linear motion components. Fagan Industries is a manufacturer’s representative’s agency covering the New England states, Eastern New York State and Eastern Pennsylvania of the United States.

James J. Fagan
 

Jim was born in Braintree Massachusetts and grew up as one of nine children.

Jim graduated in 1987 from Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont, with a B.S. in Business Administration. While at Norwich, Jim graduated in 1986 from the U.S. Army’s Airborne School. Jim was commissioned a 2LT in the U.S. Army upon graduation and attended the Military Intelligence Officer Basic School. He served on active duty from 1987-1989.

Jim began working as an Independent Sales Representative in 1992 until establishing Fagan Industries, Inc. in 1995. Fagan Industries, Inc. covered the six New England States as its sales territory and handled primarily bearings and power transmission equipment. 

In 1989 Jim married his wife Cynthia. Jim and Cynthia reside in Lynnfield Massachusetts with their four children, Jessica, Jimmy, Caroline and Anthony.


Kenneth R. Lorenze
Kenneth R. Lorenze


Ken was born in the Bronx and raised on Long Island. He has lived in Pennsylvania and New York throughout his career.

Ken graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY with a BS in Economics and has been working in industrial sales ever since.

After seven successful years in sales and management, working directly for FAG Bearings and then as Marketing Director for General Bearing Corporation, Ken founded his own manufacturers’ representative agency in 1980: Granite Springs Precision Sales, Inc. Working throughout the mid-Atlantic states for the past 25 years, he has built a solid reputation in the ball and roller bearing markets with OEMs and Industrial Distributors.

In addition, Ken has expanded his product knowledge to include plane bearings and linear motion technology. Since 1993 he has been working closely with manufacturers to implement successful solutions for customer applications. 

GSPS, Inc. is a member of PTRA. Ken has been active in Lions International for 20 years.

Ken and his wife Dorothy reside in Granite Springs, NY and have four grown daughters who live from Boston to Charlotte.


Owen McCarron


Owen McCarron was born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. He is the eldest of four children.

He majored in Business Administration at Widener University. While attending Widener, Owen played rugby and toured Europe and Canada. 

He began his sales career with Pierce Phelps and entered the conveyor industry in 1979 with Nolu Plastics. Owen covered a local Mid Atlantic territory until he was promoted to National Sales Director. In 2001 he started OEM Industrial a independent representative firm. His vast product and application knowledge in the conveyor and packaging industries has made him an asset to Industrial Distributors and equipment manufacturers.

He resides in North Wilmington, DE with his wife Kate and their two children, Moira and Aidan.


Dawn Roman


Dawn was born in East Chicago, Indiana and raised in Whiting, Indiana outside of Chicago, Illinois on the southern tip of Lake Michigan. 

She graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Purdue and then relocated to Southern Los Angeles area working for a Military Defense Contractor. After 8 years on the West Coast she relocated to the Boston area and worked on Military Projects at Raytheon. 

In 1990 she left working on Defense Contracts and worked as a consultant to retail companies prior to taking a position at John Hancock. Once at John Hancock, Dawn became a Project Manager and managed various size projects from 3 – 18 people. During the latter part of the 90s she managed software development projects for the Investment Sector of John Hancock where she also played a key role in defining the procedures for how the company developed software. 

Dawn earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2003 and continues to retain it through meeting the Project Management Institute’s continuing education requirements. 

Dawn and her family live in Lynnfield, MA where she most recently completed home renovations. She stays very involved in her two young sons’ activities by managing their soccer and basketball teams.
